Depending on where you intend to go in Laguna, it is approximately 1-2 hours away from Metro Manila by car or bus via South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). Public transportation such as provincial buses and motorized sidecars/ tricycles are widely available especially from main town transportation hubs.
The main currency used in Laguna (and in all parts of the Philippines) is Philippine Peso. ATMs are widely available at the town centers, and most local establishments and service providers only accept cash. Credit card use is dependent on the establishment.
