THINKING ABOUT ROMBLON?

The main island of Romblon is called Tablas Island, and this is where its main airport (Tugdan Airport) is located. From Manila, it is a 1 hour 20 minute flight from Manila. As of January 2019, it is serviced by Cebu Pacific Airlines. The two most used ways of transportation around the island is via car and via boat. Public transportation such as motorized sidecars/ tricycles and jeepneys are available.

The main currency used in Romblon (and in all parts of the Philippines) is Philippine Peso. US Dollars are sometimes accepted by establishments but highly dependent on its owners. To be sure, have your foreign currency changed at established FOREX centers. ATMs are only available at the main town, and most local establishments only accept cash.
